This is an open cell product with a half-pound density.  This is our most popular product due to its low cost and the fact that it is appropriate for most applications. In a typical home, 3.5 inches in walls and 6 inches in ceilings are sufficient to produce a comfortable and efficient environment. This product is very similar to Icynene half-pound foam except that it uses a bio-based polyol instead of petroleum oils.

HealthySeal 1700 is a closed cell foam that has almost no vapor or air permeability. We typically use this foam in very moist environments like pools and steam rooms. We also use this in exterior applications where durability against the elements is a concern. Also, like HS1000, we use it in interior applications where space is limited, like 2” deep metal studs.

This is a product made from polystyrene that is designed to stop the flow of air into your attic from your living space. Energy loss in this area is greater than any other in a home. Picture Styrofoam coolers and the way their top fits snugly on the body of the cooler to keep cold air inside. This product works the same way and can be purchased from enerGsmart. We can even install it for you if you like.
