Energsmart received a contract today to insulate the new Center for Information, Research, and Community Programs at Daemen College.

The 45,000 SF, $10 million building is currently being constructed on the college's campus on Main St., Amherst, NY. The Center will be the first free-standing "green" building on a WNY college campus and will be LEED (Leadership in Energy Efficiency Design) certified.

"This center will consume a fraction of the energy that similar sized buildings consume and we're proud to play such a major role in its construction with our insulation" said John Bartlo, President and CEO of Energsmart.

"The use of spray foam in such a high profile building gives foam the credibility it deserves and will hopefully open the eyes of all energy consumers to the value and return on investment that spray foam provides."
